A variety of low-energy powerful sensors

Accelerometer:

This is the sensor at the core of our product. It analyses acceleration in 3 axis and using kinematics equations we can produce data about displacement and velocity. Using analysis and comparison against the 'perfect putt' we can produce an indexed score that will be presented back to the user. In the future, insights can be generated from this data such as the examples below:

 

'Your putting isn't straight enough, hitting the ball at an angle will divert the balls travel'

'Your backswing is too long, putting with too much power will result in overshooting the holes'

'You are pushing through the ball too much; this can accelerate the ball and causes a loss in accuracy'

 

Temperature and humidity sensors:

 

The temperature and humidity sensors are used to collect data over multiple sessions about the user's performance with regards to changing weather conditions. Many golf players suffer performance issues during weather conditions and don't know it. Here is an example insight that can be produced from this sensor in the future as ProPutter scales:

 

'Your scores are substantially worse during hotter days, make sure you are adequately hydrated and are proper golfing attire.'

'Your movements are more rigid during colder days; ensure you are warming up and stretching before and during the golf sessions.'

'The weather conditions are quite wet, make sure you adjust your putts to accommodate for less friction across the ground, try adding slightly more power'
