Aims and Goals
The aim of the ProPutter is two-fold, firstly, it aims to capture the existing golf market that is primarily comprised of working individuals with an adequate budget and competitive nature. With options to compete against your friends and improve your game over time, it invites users looking to get detailed analysis on their performance.
Secondly, it aims to get new prospective players to enjoy golf. Since putting and golf in general is a very technical game, there is a high barrier to entry with regards to funding and time to spend on a trainer. ProPutter aims to eliminate this by providing an alternative.
Scalability and Future Endeavours
ProPutter is far from its full potential, with further investing and more users, we aim to develop this platform into the go-to solution in every putting experience whether that’s in a professional setting, or just messing about in minigolf. As the platform grows, investment will be made into integrating a neural network into the backend which will be used to enhance the accuracy and fidelity of the performance score by comparing your putt to that of a professional, this advancement is a huge milestone in our mission to provide a personal golf trainer in your pocket. With the network and training data in place, we aim to also use machine learning, providing a classification algorithm to give valuable insights and suggestions, ultimately improving your performance.
