The ProPutter comes with a dedicated WebApp, designed with clarity and ease-of-use in mind.
With features such as real-time putt feedback and connecting to golfers across the world, the ProPutter provides the ultimate golf training experience.

The backend consists of a Node Js application and MariaDB database administered with phpMyAdmin, running on Express JS and Apache web servers respectively. The entire backend runs on an Amazon EC2 instance, with specially configured security groups that only allow TCP traffic on the necessary server ports. The underlying instance itself can only be accessed with SSH, and communication between device and back-end is secured with HTTPS. As a result, the application can handle requests securely and concurrently, enabling the user to monitor a wide range of their analytics on our friendly user-interface. The interface is built with the React JS framework and provides the user with their training data including speeds, angles and performances. The deep connectivity between front and back-end enables secure account registration and login features, as well as our friends feature, enabling the user to add their friends and compare their training progress across the world. With the deployment of Pro-Putter, each device will be given its associated product key, allowing users to connect to the device from any account, and begin their ProPutter experience.

The User Experience:
The website is a dedicated web application for ProPutter. Once logged in users will get live updates on their latest puts giving them the velocity, the angle deviation, ambient temperature, and humidity of their latest putt.
This enables users to get real-time feedback on their putts and help them analyse why they did not get the shot they wanted (whether it was too quick or maybe their swing was not straight). However, we know that instantaneous results are not the only thing a user may want, therefore we calculate a performance score and display the last 10 performances to him in a graph and give him his last 30 relations between angle and velocity in order to show him if he tends to move his swing as he accelerates or not. We also display his average velocity and angle over all his swings.
Finally, we also know that golf is a highly social sport and brings out a slight competition between even the closest friends. Therefore, we added the friend section to our web app. This enables users to add friends by their username and to see their latest performance and their angles vs velocity. This would enable a user to understand why he lost a round of golf to his friends since half of all golf strokes should be putts.
This could help save him even more money as he will improve his game and to pay for the customary meal at the end of the round.
